Some well-overlooked details from the above links:

Router model and build number information. If we have to ask, then you haven't read anything yet. We shouldn't have to increase our post count asking for this information that should be included in your original post.

Image sizes. Please link hi-res images or edit your image attachments to no wider than 768 pixels, please. We grow weary of people who cannot understand this basic etiquette. When posting pictures, don't use your phone unless you've already resized your photo's. Otherwise, they will be too big and blow up how the topic/post looks.

Forum and web search. If you can't seem to get the forum search function to cooperate, per the “new” and old rules and guidelines, append your web search terms with site:forum.dd-wrt.com. It works, I guarantee it.

Announcements and stickies. Read them. Read them again. And when you think you know them verbatim, continue re-reading them as they may get edited and updated. It will help us help you, guaranteed.

New device support. This topic is always fun. Keep in mind that the developer needs specific information to port DD-WRT to a device and that Wifi 6 is still a ways off to be supported on any hardware platform. It is best to make a hardware donation, however, router detection information is a good start if you are willing to test firmware and have a means to recover it if you brick your router.

Discussion. Always welcomed and supported. Arguing over pointless things, or posting theories without proof of concept is moot; anyone is welcome to edit and correct themselves at any time. We strive to have healthy discussion here, but when people continue to purvey false information or make baseless claims without proof of concept, it doesn't serve the community, whatsoever. It also doesn't serve the community if folks don't address well-known issues with all of the applicable information in one place (instead of having two or ten threads open about the same issue). The only thing that is a drawback is we don't need some topics growing into 2-300 pages of back and forth and continued discussion, especially information that should likely have been reported in a build thread so it could be found there instead.

Build threads. Flash and report. We have way too many folks who cannot find information on what is the latest build that works on their router and don't know where to download firmware; which leads me to the next item.

Router database. It is only updated when BrainSlayer, the site admins, moderators, and select folks feel that there is an across-the-board stable build. Which leads me back to the previous item. If you don't flash and report, we don't know if the build is good on every supported device.
