Hello im kinda noob here and i think dd-wrt firmware is great, but im trying to get vlans and guest wifi to work..,
i followed this tutorial: https://coertvonk.com/sw/networking/dd-wrt-heading-two-networks-asus-rt-ac68u-11717

But both vlan3 and guest wifi dont have any internet connection. So I can´t see my guest wifi (SSID 2) but can connect to it. Same thing goes if i physically connect my laptop to ethternet port 3 and 4

Hope you guys can help me.

Router: Asus RT-AC68U C1
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r44627 std (10/22/20)

Sounds like you have not enabled NAT.

Ok..
But in the last section of the tutorial we do that by typing this command:

iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o `get_wanface` \
--src `nvram get br1_ipaddr`/`nvram get br1_netmask` -j SNAT \
--to `nvram get wan_ipaddr`

Am i missing something here?

iptables -t nat -I POSTROUTING -o `get_wanface` -j MASQUERADE

to enable NAT from all interfaces.

I just tried that and i successfully got the vlans on the ethernet working but not the guest network. None of the devices can connect to SSID guest.

Create a new topic for the wifi issue. Broadcoms have a long history with VAP connection problems.
