I've just flashed the latest build (DD-WRT v3.0-r44467 (09/24/20)) on my netgear 7000P.

The Israeli regulation doesn't allow any channel above 64
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_WLAN_channels

I can't choose any 5GHz channel in the range.

Is there any way to add the relevant channels / the relevant regulatory domain. or, anyone familiar with a build the include those?

Update:
I've tried to downgrade to:
DD-WRT v3.0-r43324 (06/02/20)
But, same results, Although it's available with the stock firmware, there are no low channels for 5GHz

this is the only link i know of for kong builds anymore. it's a web archive of build 39960M https://web.archive.org/web/20190204145633/http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/

if you flash that build

do an nvram erase

then flash the current bs build

the us domain will have a lower channel per extension channel

I've had some bugs with the kong builds in the past.
There's no working 7000P BS builds?

the bs builds run very well

there are just some bugs that need to be worked around

doing an nvram erase on a bs build is one of them

going to the kong build is just to recover the channels

once you are back on bs just do a gui or pin reset if need be

The Method worked, should I reset (GUI) or just keep it with the current configuration from kong?

There is a experienced user on here with this device that never does any reset. They don't have problems. Occasionally an extra reboot might be a good idea. Reset if problems pop up

the channels are just a matter of the country settings.

The GUI is crap when applying the regional settings... You have to follow the right order of operations:

1) Select your country first and YOU MUST HIT APPLY! The driver needs to reconfigure the country for the speific wifi chipset and then the router needs to get the updated channel list for your country.

2) Set the Channel Width and hit Save.

3A) Select the correct WiFi "carrier" channel and concurrently go to step 3B.

3B) Set the Extension Channel UU, LL, UL, or LU . (For BCM this is reverse polish notation) as outline in the general wifi settings wiki....

I don't change the country

I set the Channel Width and hit Save

I have no clue what WiFi "carrier" channel is

In my setup I have to pick an Extension Channel and hit Save

Then select a channel and hit Save

what it looks like now

after nvram erase first boot

after reboot

If you select 161 and click 'Save' at this point, does it show more channels? See here about comparing the nvram before and after...if you're still interesting in finding the culprit at least. Wink
