I was wondering if anyone has a copy of the 40270 version of
dd-wrt.v24-K3_AC_ARM_STD.bin they can share. It is unfortunate that KONG has moved on and clonvince.fr is also dead.

TIA

Try https://duckduckgo.com/ or cleaner https://start.duckduckgo.com/ for searches.

The thread above is to the same exact file and post I linked.

that build is too old now, not very clever to run it on the main router...apart of that, although it was stable for a basic needs, it had some issues for its time... Twisted Evil

FWIW, I went straight to BS from <Kong> on 4 routers.

R6200v2,bdcm , R7800 (x2), and R7500v2 with no reset and still haven't reset.
Been near a year now and I have never looked back.

I started using Kong Builds back when he created builds (based on DD-WRT) for the E3000 & E2000 a long time ago. Kong has gone his own direction without a forum or support. This forum (DD-WRT) is rich with great information and nothing can replace it. Long story short, BrainSlayer's Builds are totally stable and I have been very happy I'm on the latest Build 44340 and running great. Thanks BrainSlayer!!

If you plan to jump to the newer DD-WRT builds from your old Kong build. I would document your settings, install the latest DD-WRT build; do a "nvram erase && reboot" in CLI and manually re-configure by hand.
