r6400 latest install cant connect

Just installed the latest version listed ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2020/08-18-2020-r44213/netgear-r6400/

Doesnt let me connect at all. Tried to terminal connect says its refused. Not sure what i should do as ive never had one fail. Thanks in advance.

Is yours a V1 or V2 or V2OTP? There should be something on the label on the underside of the router that stipulates, otherwise, you have to get the board ID off the SoC PCB.

Is it the first time you install ddwrt ?
Or are you coming from an other ddwrt build is so which one?
