Need help with one of two routers to find dd wrt firmware

Hello Experts,

I have two routers, one is TP-Link Archer C6 and the other one is D-Link DIR-825ACG1 and I am struggling to find a firmware for them.

I need to setup OpenVPN on one of them. I have subscribed to one of the VPN providers but unfortunately i cannot take advantage of the VPN since I can't install DD-WRT on any of them

Can you please help me to find a solution?

I'm fairly certain neither of these two routers are supported by DD-WRT.

I recommend Netgear R7800 (or cheaper older Linksys EA8500 with TTL serial flash, or an overpriced Netgear R9000).

The Netgears have newer chipsets and radios, more support and firmware options.
