Hoping for more exposure in the english forum areas.

Reactivating a pair of USR5453 Access Points.

I have been able to get r19519

working following the instructions here

only change: had to use fis init -f

using any newer release then R19519 prevents the unit from booting correctly, the interface does not come up anymore on 192.168.1.1

i tried to flash via gui and via TFTP and no luck either way.

to me it seems as if something changed in the builds after dec 2012 or (as a user suggested in the german area) that the flash instuctions dont work for the newer releases.

anyone has any idea how to get the newer versions running? since they are still in the automatic build process for newer versions i assume it can be done somehow.

would appreciate some feedback on the matter.

Do you have specific serial output of your flash attempts? Any debug information? I do not know if the developer has one of these on hand to check, but I can email him. This is the most recent release:

Also, did you mean USR5453 and not USR5452?
