CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (or 'curl -k {file URL} -o {file}') with http (not https) or ftp. Then 'write {file} linux'.

Repository: Trac SVN changelog since last build r43652 (GitHub mirror)

Notes:
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix (applicability depends on VPN setup) and GUI toggle. 6920, 6928, 6931, 6932 (WIP 7040)
In-kernel Samba has been implemented this year and default min/max versions have changed 6954, 6957, with WSD support.
• VAP issue is fixed! For any Wireless Mode, create a VAP and both ath0/ath1 should now function properly.
• Local DNS option removed from Services->DNSMasq in changesets 43080 and 43081; ref: #7092
• DHCP and DNS help (English) updated in 43083; ref: #7091

Issues:
• There may be remaining issues for Samba (for example NTFS), with frequent updates.

Important:
• If reporting issues provide applicable info: 'dmesg', 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages', syslog/serial output, strace etc.
• For firewall issues provide 'iptables -L', 'iptables -t nat -L' and the /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search existing SVN tickets before opening a new one. Before reporting, reset and manually setup (no nvram backup).
• Be sure to include operating and wireless modes (Gateway, AP, CB, etc.) along with relevant configuration information.

Upgraded 32x from previous release build, first attempt did not quite work, even though I always do it via wired connection.

Switched back partition and upgraded again, then no problems.

Still has the issue of "50% load" (which is not), but working otherwise just like previous build.

Perhaps these two unusual events are related?

I never have such issues upgrading my WRT32X.

I find it hard to believe that not most of the 32X, and 3200 routers are seeing the higher cpu load advantages. My router is at 50% before even setting it up.

To be fair, this 50% load is only on my 32X and only on the web interface.

When I log in via SSH and run top, it's around 2-3% only.

My 3200ACM has no such issue on the web interface.

My WRT3200ACM DD-WRT partition is bricked after disabling wifi on a fresh installation.
I have this problem with older versions of DD-WRT as well.

Linux version 4.9.229 (root@server2) (gcc version 9.2.0 (OpenWrt GCC 9.2.0 r10880-cb3c4c713d) )
CPU: ARMv7 Processor revision 1 (ARMv7)
DD-WRT v3.0-r43711 std (c) 2020 NewMedia-NET GmbH
Release: 07/08/20
Board: Linksys WRT3200ACM

Steps to reproduce, performing a fresh install after bricking my DD-WRT partition:
Boot linksys standard firmware partition 1.
Update firmware with factory-to-ddwrt.bin version r43711.
Physically reboot router.
Log into WebGUI.
Go to Wireless -> Basic Settings.
Set Wireless Network Mode of 2.4GHZ to Disabled.
Click Save button.
Click Apply settings button.
Physically turn off router and turn back on again.
Wait.....

Result:
Can ping 192.168.1.1, but
Cannot telnet to port 80: Connection refused.
Cannot telnet to port 23. (tried previously)
Cannot connect to ssh. (tried previously)
No internet.
