Wondering if anyone has had experience with a totally unresponsive DIR-890L, where the power light is only ever white, and does not turn amber or flash? I've tried a 30-30-30 reset, and followed the recovery mode sequence in 890L guide, but I'm not able to connect over Ethernet cable to 192.168.0.1 from my desktop set with a static IP.
From looking around I've also seen mention of connecting via USB/serial to try to recover via Linux; I have a Pi that I could try connecting, is that a possibility?
Thank you for the pointers, I'm still pretty much stuck on the fact that the router doesn't even respond to a ping, with my IP set to 192.168.0.2. I turn it on, power light is steady white, never changes to red, or amber/blinking. No way to issue the curl command you suggest. Is it toast in your estimation?

Putting it in emergency recovery mode can be tricky. What you can do is use wireguard to check what packets the router is sending out. Worst case is having to do serial recovery. Not sure if these have a header populated on the board or if they require one to be installed / soldered.
