|
I had tested the 2.4G wifi (ath1). I had disabled the WPA Algorithms of WPA2 TKIP and enabled the AES. The 2.4G wifi AP (ath1) can be fixed.
Due to IPCAM Setup, the default setup need to connection AP (WPA2 TKIP) so I must to enable the AES and TKIP as the same time. However, I cause the connection issue.
In case of WRT1900ACSV2 & WRT1200AC about enabling WPA2 TKIP and WPA2 AES, it did not find any problem.
If you have the same problem, could you please try this method and reply the result. Many Thanks!
Remark: I have revert to Linksys Firmware, upgrade the latest firmware and recover the dd-wrt firmware. |

I do not think so!
AES or TKIP can work in different type of router.
Second, in WRT1900ACSV2 can work! Only WRT32X cannot work. That is a problem. Then, if the selection only can select one, the other option should not be selected. According your opinion, the design of settling is a wrong config. I know that some device cannot connect with WPA2 AES so I set TKIP and AES in 2.4G wifi!
I believe that it is a bug but some people do not agree!
Now, I am waiting the user test result!

Follow the proper configuration and quit being hard-headed. TKIP and AES do not work together 100% of the time in this[b] firmware and NEVER HAVE. This doesn't even work properly in most factory stock firmwares. Since you don't want to listen to the advice of users who know what they are talking about, I'm locking this thread. I will not have someone argue an invalid point. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"
