Hi. I have a little inconvenience. I just extracted the firmware to modify a part that I require, but I don't know where to start. I would like to modify the username and password that is placed and make it persistent. I want when the router is reset the configuration will be maintained. Could you tell me which file extracted from the firmware I have to modify to perform what I want?

to disable 'reset button' its easy, you don't need to 'extract the firmware'... administration menu, down the bottom, there is a settings for it...
in that way, it will preserve/keep the settings on reset...
As far as, GUI you dont want to show up pass/login you can disable GUI or block/allow it, to a certain users only...either by mac address or IP...

i hope you know what you are doing...

I thought about that option. But I wonder what would occur if for some reason the router crashes and I need to reset it.

as we don't know what router is all about and current build on it, we don't know what to advise you...
some routers have tftp recovery procedure and its easy to recover, worst case serial recovery...but there are tricks, how to set up your router and still have access and can reset it even if this option is enabled...
