Asus RT-AC68u -
I use the DDWRT Companion App on my phone to monitor my routers, and ever since the "test" version of Dropbear was implemented, the connection to the router is dropping. I went back to 43266, and the issue goes away.
Anyone else use this app, or have any issues with the new Dropbear? (SSH) _________________ ASUS RT-AC68U (R/AP) Merlin 384.19

yes, but, no, but...hmmm i never had any dropbear/SSh issues...
i even have a dedicated, syslog PC, running putty SSh top that runs for a days when i need it...(just to announce you, ive never used that companion DDWRT app)
if you have any troubles with ddwrt implemented dropbear, its probb, up to wifi instability, bad client or bad router wi-fi radio binaries...bad router settings included...as well your app...may be... _________________ Atheros

this should be reported to dropbear maintainer and follow his instruction to troubleshoot the problem... BS can't do much here except to revert to last working version... this won't happen because he himself uses ssh with dropbear and worksforhim...
Interesting... I updated from r43266 to r43381, then performed a reset. Dropbear still acted funky in the app I used. I also used SSH for a bit using Putty, and it seemed to be fine-
Well, fast forward to r43392, which had another Dropbear update - I updated one of my routers to r43392, and the issues went away with my DDWRT companion App, and SSH still works. Must have been something with the version of Dropbear...
anyhow, r43392 seems stable to me, even though it was pulled. _________________ ASUS RT-AC68U (R/AP) Merlin 384.19
