Firefox 80 said DD-WRT's website was misconfigured or got the wrong time. Needed to click <accept the risk> to regain access.

Well... Smile

Not sure if any of the other folks who usually inform BS or Markus have contacted or not, but just sent an email to them both.

DON'T use Chromium-based browsersRTFM/STFW - TL;DR is NOT an excuse. • Why Should I Care What Color the Bikeshed Is?

I remember the global disaster when Firefox's own certificate expired... Smile

Their 90 day LetsEncrypt cert has expired.
I'm surprised they don't have a job to auto-renew it.

It does renew. It's just that not the correct connector for the web server is used, so it's not testarted after renewal.

Is this the norm of HTTPS protocol?

I guess we will soon will see a lot more cases of access to websites denied because of certificate expiration?

Not the "norm". All DD-WRT site servers use Let's Encrypt certificates. They are not the only certificate providers on the Internet.
