Android asks me to sign into the network after wifi password

Been using DDWRT for a couple of years on my R7000 without any bigger issues. The other day though, mine and my girldfriend's android phone started asking us to sign in to the network. Kinda like it does on a public wifi, you go to a portal and approve the rules or whatever. I have tried removing the wifi settings from the phone and re add it, still the same things, asks med to sign in. I then updated my router to r43290. Still the same issue. I have also rebooted my phones. I don't experience this issue on my laptop though.

Could this be a DDWRT issue or is it related to Android 10 somehow?

Cleared NVRAM to default settings & reconfigured router from scratch?

Rogue app(s) on the phones? Phones hacked?
