Hello, I succesfully installed the factory flash on the DD-WRT main page. This is a mini build, and I want to install mega features (which is compatible with this router).

But a question came to my mind after seeing that some routers (like E900, pretty similar to E800) use NV60K or NV64K builds.

There's nothing about NVRAM builds on the main web site but, browsing into the FTP folder there's three mega builds available for broadcom_K26:

mega-nv60k.bin
mega-nv64k.bin
mega.bin

(I couldn't find E800 NVRAM size on Google).

In the E800's page, website points to the mega build without anything about NVRAM but it's the same with E900 and it needs NV64K builds (as I read on the web and watched in videos). So... should I use this mega build without NVRAM mention blindly in the E800 router?

There's a trailed mega build made for the E900 too (in the broadcom_K3X folder), but there's no such thing for the E800.

EDIT: OK. After checking in the Space Usage, it shows it is 64K. So my E800 has 64K NVRAM, now my question is reduced to...

Should I use mega-nv64k.bin or mega.bin?

Thanks for any reply.

The following thread discusses initial support for this device:

https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=171525

There is a mini E800 trailed build in the K26 folder. (initial flash)
There is a mega nv64k generic build in the K26 folder. (upgrade)
There is a mega nv64k generic build in the K3x folder. (possible upgrade)

The thing that I noticed in the linked thread is folks were flashing the "big" K26-nv64k.
I am not sure if there is a flash size limitation specific to the E800, but that is something to keep in mind.
There is no device-specific wiki for the E800 at present.
