Hi each, I hope I am posting in the correct forum.

Would it be possible to configure my router so that the 5ghz band is run through my vpn but the 2.4ghz band is not?

Apologies if I am asking a really stupid question

What you want is possible and called Policy Based Routing
in my signature at the bottom of this post is a PBR guide.

For this to work you have to unbridge the 5 GHZ or make a VAP (Virtual Access Point) so that it runs on its own subnet, That subnet is then used for PBR
