[WARNING]: This thread is only for feedback on this beta release for developers and the community's benefit.
DO NOT flash this beta release unless you understand the risks involved and specific device recovery methods.
Avoid discussions! Create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
Please list router model & revision, operating & wireless mode(s) and exact filename/firmware image flashed.

Downloads: (DD-WRT website) HTTPS & FTP (If one link doesn't work, try another)

CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (or 'curl -k {file URL} -o {file}') with http (not https) or ftp. Then 'write {file} linux'.

Repository: Trac SVN changelog since last build r42954 (GitHub mirror)

Notes:
• CVE-2019-14899 VPN fix from December, since then various revisions including recently 7040.
In-kernel Samba has been implemented this year and default min/max versions have changed, with WSD support.
• VAP issue is fixed! For any Wireless Mode, create a VAP and both ath0/ath1 should now function properly.
WireGuard 1.0 & tools! New GUI Tunnel options have appeared since r42872, script no longer required! Setup Guide is by egc.

Issues:
• There may be remaining issues for Samba (for example NTFS), with frequent updates.

Important:
• If reporting issues provide applicable info: syslog output, 'dmesg', 'cat /var/log/messages', serial output etc.
• For firewall issues provide 'iptables -L', 'iptables -t nat -L' and the /tmp/.ipt file.
• Search existing SVN tickets before opening a new one. Before reporting, reset and manually setup (no nvram backup).
• Be sure to include operating and wireless modes (Gateway, AP, CB, etc.) along with any relevant configuration information.

Example Template:
Code:
[b]Router/Version: [/b]
[b]File/Kernel: [/b]
[b]Previous/Reset: [/b]
[b]Mode/Status: [/b]
[b]Issues/Errors: [/b]

blackraiin, I mainly use linux Debian but have WIN10 handy.
just guessing you are asking about samba mounts
No problems at all for me on any machine. You do know you have to use like so ---
routerIP/sambasharename

I do use local DNS so mine are (from Debian machine)
Code:
smb://citadel-switch.mrjcd.com/switch/
smb://ea8500.mrjcd.com/test/
smb://citadel-station-homeworld.mrjcd.com/volus-station/

---
in goofy winders10 you would put in the 'Network' \\routerIP
like I said I use local DNS so I use routername.mydomain

of course I have all saved to 'favorites' ...shotcuts on the WIN10 Desktop

this is smb.conf of all ---> 'smb.conf'

directories mounted on Debian machine

same directories mounted on WIN10 machine

AND
all mount just fine on the oldass MAC G5 PPC running Lubuntu
it's in back room and I ain't gonna go there to do any screenshots but this is what she is ---

Looked like a worthwile way of testing speeds. After installing speedtest-cli, I tried to run mrjcd's command line ...

This is the reply I got in Helsinki:
Retrieving speedtest.net configuration...
Testing from DNA Oyj (<my public IP>)...
Retrieving speedtest.net server list...
ERROR: No matched servers: 15248

The 15248 must be a magic number, which works from Texas only ...

DD-WRT v3.0-r43012 (04/28/20)- i know it was pulled but had already applied

went from Kong to this build - full reset and nvram erase

having some random intermittent drops on the wireless . seems to drop but sync right back up after 1-2 seconds. i would say its stable 85% and then would just drop a device or two.

any ideas

I have been using mostly recoomended QCA settings - but therer are a bunch of new otions in this build - any guidance on how to set them as not sure what they mean, right now all the new ones are disabled
