I would like to swap my hdd for an m.2 ssd. Will I lose my license? And can I clone the hdd to the m.2?

Just remove the hard drive and put in your m.2 drive after the drive is imaged over. I am sure the key is not tied to the storage medium but it is tied to memory size and Mac addresses of your NIC cards and other hardware hash. I would ask Brainslayer in a PM or Email before you proceed.
