Can you please confirm Firefox 110 warning when opening https://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2023/

Quote:
Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

Firefox detected an issue and did not continue to download1.dd-wrt.com. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely.

EDIT 2023-02-21: Solved

I also had the same problem with Firefox 110.

Update: The problem appears to be resolved! I was able to download files with no warning messages.

Router/Version: Netgear R7000P
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r51787 std (02/20/23)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.302-st37 #8720 SMP Mon Feb 20 04:58:14 +06 2023 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r51679 / No Reset
Mode/Status: Gateway / Working
Issues/Errors : None

Shortcut Forwarding Engine:SFE

Flow Acceleration: CTF and FA

With Comcast and Verizon, the Shortcut Forwarding Engine: CTF is working, but sees slower than previous builds.

With Comcast which in my area uses vCMTS, I can only obtain a WAN IPv6 address with a firewall modification, but no LAN address.

Add an exception in FF for "https://download1.dd-wrt.com", and you won't see the warning...

[Edit] Alternatively, could download from:

I got the warning message as well in Chrome. I just opened an incognito window and clicked through the warning prompt to get to the files.

The sky is still where it was. This a commonly occurring issue in the dd-wrt.com domain.

#7663 No connection to download1.dd-wrt.com.......certificate expired

SSL cert expired for https://download1.dd-wrt.com

HTTPS download page not working?

Upgrade to this version brick the router Netgear r7000. It works after a factory reset, but it's impossible to restore the configuration from a copy, because that also brick the router.

Back to the previous version of r51741 (02-18-2023) and everything works. Something is wrong with version r51787 (02-20-2023) for this router.

Router/Version: Netgear R7000
File/Kernel: Linux 4.4.302-st37 #8694 SMP Sat Feb 18 03:53:47 +06 2023 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r51741/No
Mode/Status: Gateway & SFE:on & STP:off, DNSmasq, Tunels & WireGuard & PBR sources via WAN, Wireless:2,4/5 GHz & WPA2-PSK & Virtual, Use NVRAM for Client Lease DB, Encrypt DNS, Firewall:on, Port Forwarding, QoS
Issues/Errors: Bricked after update from r51741 to r51787. After rebooting after the update, not all the normal LEDs light up and no communication with the router.

Firmware: v3.0-r51787 std (02/20/23)
Router/Version: Archer C9v1
File/Kernel: Linux 4.4.302-st37 #8696 SMP Sat Feb 18 04:28:30 +06 2023 armv7l
Previous/Reset: 02-18-2023-r51741/No
Mode/Status: Gateway and SFE:CTF / FA:CTF & FA, DNSmasq, Firewall:on, AP wired and wireless.
Issues/Errors:
Unstable after update from r51741 to r51787.
Rebooted after the update, saving/applying turned the web ui unresponsive by 8s, and available again.
After changing DNSmasq bricked, even turning off, waiting and turn on again didn´t solve.
Came back again after holding reset button.
The web ui persisted unresponsive after every change save/apply, then came back available after 8s.
I found that Flow Acceleration wasn´t available in this version.
Downgraded to previous version 02-18-2023-r51741, the web ui became stable again after every save/apply, running for hours.

Great Firmware!
Thanks
