Hi folks

I have two TPLINK CPE210's set up with one as an AP and one as a repeater, to make a longshot wifi connection across my neighbourhood.

The connection is decent, but the client gets about 24Mbps down and 10Mbps up. I was hoping for better numbers, in particular for downloading.

If I add a third CPE210 and put DD-WRT on all three, can I set up the third CPE210 as another AP and bond it to the the first, to increase speeds for the client? Or perhaps set up the third as a another client and bond it to the first client somehow?

Sorry, totally green here on wifi bonding, but hopefully someone has some advice on whether this is completely infeasible or possibly workable.

Thank you!

This device is not supported by dd-wrt.

It's the repeater that cut the bandwidth in half.

Change it to client and add another AP by cable.

You can use an EAP110 as AP or a EAP225 that also have 5Ghz.
