I have a device connected to the internal LAN that I block both with the MAC-Address and with the IP having made it static. The problem is that, in my opinion, it does some activity the same since when the LAN and internet performance is connected, it degrades considerably. Confused For please I wanted to know how to log the activity of the device in question to understand if my suspicions are founded and if the blocking of the device is effective. ( Question )
Thanks.

Netgear R7000
Last firmware
Device connect by eth on VLAN.

Have you tried unplugging the device to see if your performance changes? Wireshark can also help you gain an understanding if something weird is going on.

If you've blocked it by MAC address, then it's not even going to get an IP address through DHCP, and if they manually set it, those packets will be dropped.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I tried to unplug it and the performance has improved a lot. Now I had to reconnect it and I always notice some ballerinas. I don't know how to use wireshark but the device doesn't have an operating system where I can install it. Idea If there was a plug for dd-wrt to do this or if you could enable an internal log it would have been better Idea ... Should I install it on my PC and check that IP from them Question

Use tcpdump on the router.

Is there a step-by-step guide for use on tcpdump's dd-wrt?
Thank you!

It's standard Linux.

Use Kelly's tcpdump guide.
