I'm running DD-WRT v3.0-r41686 std (12/10/19) on my Linksys WRT1900ACS. When I plug directly into any of the lan ports and run a speedtest from the laptop directly to the router I only get about 11MB/s. I've tried all ports and multiple different cables.

So it is not entirely clear to me what the problem is?

the iperf3 test clearly shows that the transmissionrate is 1Gbit - between your Router and the PC (~941Mbit / ~117 Megabyte per second)

faster not possible

Thank you for the flowers
just wanted to show you that the transfer rate is not 100Mbit

iperf3 -Rc 192.168.1.1

Is 192.168.1.1 the address of your PC?
If that is the address of your router, you have made a speed test from the router to it self.

In the GUI, go to the Switch Config Tab.

The colour show what speed the device is connected with.

Green=1 Gbit
Yellow= 100Mbit
Red=Not connected

swconfig dev switch0 show

Will also print all details about all switch ports.

as far as i understand it is the address of the router

I described the test there

https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=1198310#1198310

a "loopback-test" looks different

on router:
[ 5] 0.00-4.00 sec 2.28 GBytes 4.90 Gbits/sec receiver

on PC:
[ 4] 0.00-9.26 sec 88.0 GBytes 81.6 Gbits/sec receiver

Right, in this test the PC is the client (-c) and the router is the server (-s) with reverse (-R) so the server sends data to the client.

Also it's with 12 parallel streams (-P) for 30 seconds (-t).

I notice there's a bidirectional mode too (--bidir). Neat.
