How do I set DD-WRT as a proxy client?
Because the only method I've found (as follows) doesn't work.
1: it still requires a client on you computer for it to connect.
2: it's for an out-moded version of DD-WRT.
And 3: even after the fist two reasons, it only works on unix.
I have to run Windows because most of games I play aren't available on Unix, and don't work in vm/wine.

Edit:
this is for a hack-ey hotspot app.
the app can only do SSTP for the vpn option.
And DD-WRT's vpn settings don't have an option for SSTP vpn's specifically.

Perhaps the question should be, "How do I install squid on Windows?"

AFAIK, pointing DD-WRT to your squid proxy per the Wiki and other referenced posts, especially @eibgrad's input on iptables rules change should still be the same...

EDIT: Of course, there is the option of using Entware to install squid on your router.

Using Squid would require using an additional machine and/or a client on the connected devices.
The reason I am making my dd-wrt connect though a proxy is to not do that.

Edit
I'll have to "window shop" so to speak for entware that'll do it.
I only have 1 usb drive atm, and I have to have it exclusively for backups and os installing.
