Hi,

Got a bunch of buffalo wzr-hp-g300nh2,the version is A1C1,not seen in any post.

Press reset about 15 or 20 seconds, still the same as it's known to have run DD-WRT.

But user/pass are not known,so can't login to DD-wrt webgui.

Attached a USB-ttl to it.

Showed running dd-wrt,also a tftp window.

What can I do to reset nvram in this case?

Formerly debricked with tftp method, but this bunch of units doesn't work,10 seconds,12 seconds, even with the bootlog shows tftp server, waiting for 4 seconds, then press

tftp -i 192.168.11.1 put d:\wzr.enc

nothing....

Help, any ideas?really at my wits end...

I dropped you a PM but here's the gist of how I got in when the default passwords failed me after flash upgrade and reset. Try the following:

telenet to 192.168.11.1
user: root
pwd: password

open browser to 192.168.11.1
user: admin
pwd: password

Strange that the logins are different.

Hi,thanks.

the 192.168.11.1 is the stock buffalo webgui,it's well-known.

Certainly not my case,it is assigned as 192.168.2.1 with DD-wrt.

With TTL-usb,I saw the bootlog.

trying TFTP after 10 seconds, debricked several buffalo units before with my same old laptop designated with repair jobs running in XP.

Well。

Here's how I did it.

Run regedit,
under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters
add a REG_dword DisableDHCPMediaSense value is 1

then the usual 10 seconds tftp works.

spent a whole afternoon tftp around 50 units.

and stock one is 192.168.11.1 prompting for setting pass after initial login.

Why not just set a static IP of 192.168.11.2 or whatever the preferred IP is of the TFTP server on Buffalo devices and be done with it?

So wiki says make use of switch REALLY makes sense.

I don't have a switch,so this DisableDHCPMediaSense solved this issue.
