Router: WRT3200ACM
Firmware: Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r42681 std (03/13/20)

The Tx power level for 5 Ghz is 23 dbm and for 2.4 Ghz 30 dbm. Did I miss something or is this the new normal?

Bur does it really effect the 3200acm? I remember reading earlier that power levels were locked by the chip firmware. Is it just a display number in case of 3200acm?
Also, do you know why this design change was done in dd-wrt?

Thanks.

Channel selection was overhauled and it's likely more closely following rules and regulations depending on your country.

I did some experiments awhile back on a WRT1900ACSv2 and concluded that it's just a number, that the actual power output does not change as the number is changed. It's locked at the regulatory maximum (for the US, in my experiment).
