You should report router make, model, etc. etc. etc. and then put your errors; then, open a new thread about how to fix your problem.

I tried all version of the protokol. Sometimes it was working on Android 10, but very slowly. I tried to enable smb1.0 on Windows 10 1909, but without success. I have to switch back to build r41986.

thank you

I just got a brand new ASUS RT-AC5300 and flashed dd-wrt with this build... most everything seems to be working however the WAN MAC is 00:00:00:00:00:01 which is obviously wrong. Internet still works though.

EDIT: I used the ASUS recovery to reset factory settings then dd-wrt to reset factory settings and now the mac is correct. Hope that this helps.

AC routers: Upper and lower are backwards in the 5ghz menu (cosmetic).
Workaround: Choose the reverse.

ARM specific: TurboQam on by default, no settings in menu.
Workaround: nvram set wl0_turbo_qam=0 && nvram set wl1_turbo_qam=0 && nvram commit

ARM specific: CPU governor is missing Embarassed
Workaround: A fan

And some good news:
I see well-working multicast features.

Has there ever been a CPU governor for Arm/Broadcom?

Please start a new thread post screenshot of the Openvpn setup page and your settings in Additional Config.
Add verb 5 to additional config of openvpn client setting, reboot and post openvpn status page ( whole page)

Router Model: Asus RT-AC87U
Firmware Version: DD-WRT v3.0-r42617 std (03/05/20)
Kernel Version: Linux 4.4.215 #1056 Thu Mar 5 07:59:37 +04 2020 armv7l

using wl0 only.

Notes: After the successful upgrade the client bridge mode will not function at all. No TX no RX. No connection. I've tried factory reset and hard reset. No change.

If i set network mode to AP, as a test, it seems to work fine, i can see the SSID and connect. however if I switch it back to client bridge nothing.

This has been working as client bridge device for years...it must be something recent.

Any ideas?

From the OP:

Quote:
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
2. WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS)

Notes:
3. Bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work in some configurations in certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead as WDS doesn't work with Broadcom ARM either (see Issues below).

And I just realized I need to edit below to read above..... Embarassed
