I've been trying to set it up and I've established layer 2 connectivity but my problem is I can't seem to get softether layer 3 routing to work without causing massive packet loss.

softether is broken on x86_64, the server never starts, with e1000e driver it outputs some mtu error, with igb driver it gives NOTHING at all, neither start. on r7800 it runs, but very poorly cause cpu usage is broken on the router on kernel 4.x so speeds completely suck..

So I'm trying to run it router to router to build essentially site to site layer 3 vpn's.

I like its functionality or at least the intended functionality.
