NT 1.0 (SMB1) still broken in this new Daemon version.
Nine Windows 10 machines (home and pro) all disappeared from NETWORK BROWSING with this version. The NAS drive also disappeared. SET NT 1.0 as minimum and tried various other setting combinations and reboots of the router and the computers. No joy. NT 1.0 (SMB1) not working with NETWORK BROWSING (In WINDOWS 10). Reverted back to r42054 and immediately all computers and shares were visible on the network along with the NAS Drive. _________________ WRT1900ACSv2

I have a wrt1900acsv2 and 2.4 Ghz wireless clients lose wireless connection and you need to switch off and on your router. The same problem exist on the previous release as well.
firmware works wonderful for my setup... ( for those that wait onme to post ) _________________ Downloads:

WRT1900ACv1: WIFI: 2.4ghz: NG-mixed, 20mhz channel width, channel follows AP, WPA2-CCMP-128.
WIFI: 5ghz: AC/N mixed, 40mhz channel width, channel 100+upper, WPA2-CCMP-128.
Misc Info: WPA2 Personal: "CCMP-128 (AES)" Static IP's VIA Mac+Host, SFE Enabled, No Rebind, Strict, no-resolv. NOTE: this is now just a wireless access point so to speak but all settings still apply to what ever wireless person connects.
OpenVPN CLIENT works fine (nordvpn server)
5GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
2.4GHz wpa2 CCMP-128 (AES)working fine 20MHz Mixed
NAS via USB Samba 2 also working fine
*** There is a problem maintaining internet connections on websites and downloads. They don't finish loading, or in some cases, time out. I noticed this on r42132, but thought it was just an odd occurrence. It became regular enough that several Power off Resets were required to recover through the day.
I've gone back to r42054 until I see others experiences.
Fingers crossed...Although I have mitigated the risks and can restore anything on the network (Images and backed up files, media, etc.) to multiple drives not connected to the network. I'm hoping that the WSD will not be tied to NIC drivers in some way...I have tried in the past to disable SMB1 and to rely on the MS Function Discovery services only for WSD but no joy on that...But DD may not have supported WSD at the time...Hoping for the best...
BTW I saw your info post the other day regarding SMB and WSD...Most of those I had read previously and as one of your links said they're attacking WSD as well...Bottom line is you can never be fully safe but you can do what you can and make sure you have multiple backups should your finger "click" by accident. NIX guys aren't 100 safe either...Remember HEARTBLEED :-)..

You will not need to rely on SMBv1 and NetBIOS discovery any longer.

So, I guess nobody was paying attention. SMB protocol lower than 2.x is gone. Also, that build should have windows network discovery enabled. But I guess I wasn't paying attention to the commits and tickets well enough... would be great if all the device images were populated. And some folks think that it doesn't take long. Only halfway over 12 hours later.... _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

Hello first time poster and first time user. Just flashed the 42174 buld to a 3200acm. VPN, QoS, SMB everything so far works fine for my use case but im not that advanced of a user. Had a little trouble configuring the wirelles networks but all is fine atm (with one exception but i hope ill figure it out). The only thing i think is a bit underwhelming is the 2.4GHz network.

Congrats on your DD-wrt journey.
Let us know how the wifi works out with this build on 3200ACM.
