Hello,
Was wondering if there would be any support for ASUS RT-AC59U router.
I checked the list and found none.. The router is just 6 months into the market I suppose..
I am using DD-WRT on TP-Link TL-WR740N and it works flawlessly... Hoping to see the same on my ASUS router..
Thanks in advance for any info shared... _________________ TP-Link: TL-WR740N

June - August 2019 introduction date, looks like. It has the Qualcomm QCN5502, which there are no supported devices with that chip currently. The only thing that can maybe nudge it would be to do some homework or make a hardware donation with no guarantee of the device being returned:

The last two links I visited before posting to know if it could work, didn't get much to link with dd-wrt and hence I posted to confirm... Thanks for that..
The first one.. I can try out..
The second one.. Man would love to but then took me a hell lot of saving to buy one for me _________________ TP-Link: TL-WR740N

I understand completely. I am not independently wealthy enough to buy a lot of the routers that folks want support for and ship them off to Dresden, Germany. _________________ "Life is but a fleeting moment, a vapor that vanishes quickly; All is vanity"

longs all the hardware in it (switch, radios, etc) have linux drivers, its supportable. they just need one in front of them 98% of the time (to serial connect to it, get data, brick test it 70 times etc) _________________ LATEST FIRMWARE(S)
