Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r42015 std (01/18/20)
Reset: no
Issues/Errors: the problem is also present in the version v3.0-r42015. The SSH connection is always active even when you block it from the administrator panel. The connection is also guaranteed to IP outside the established range. It is not possible to change the connection port, it always remains 22. Exclamation I hope the problem is resolved quickly. Thank you Exclamation

1) This is not the Broadcom forum

2) The Administration tab where it is disabling SSH is for disabling access from the WAN, not the LAN. What are you trying to block?

I am pretty sure the DNSCrypt server is not down, since the DNSCrypt works fine when I go back to r42054 (making no changes). I am not really seeing anything that stands out in the logs either so I am not sure what's going on.

Netgear X10 r9000:

Upon upgrading to r42054 from r41892, I lost internet access. In order to regain internet, I had to disable "Encrypt DNS" to have internet access again. I tried to re-enable "Encrypt DNS" and again lost internet access, so I am leaving it disable for the moment.

I am also having some weird permission issues with the Hard Drive connected directly to the router that I am using as a NAS. If I can figure out what is going on I will post more information later.

make sure your DNSCrypt server is not down and you have a working NTP time...

using GUI option "Encrypt DNS" provides connection to only one server, while running DNSCrypt via CLI/script provides connection to more than 1 server.... the downside of it, it takes sightly more resources, but not much to be that noticeable...

Router/Version:NetGear WNDR3800
Mode:Gateway
File: DD-WRT v3.0-r42054 std (01/21/20)
Kernel: Linux 3.10.108-d9 #35047 Tue Jan 21 07:57:27 +04 2020 mips
Status: up 18 min

Config: USB, NAS, OpenVpn, Firewall rules, MAC Filter.

Issues: 1- Sharing my USB drive through NAS configured to work on Min/Max: NT1.0 and SMB 2.0 fail to work at all. No network shares visible on my network (clients on my network include Android, Linux, Windows 7, Windows Cool. This is an important issue to me. Previous firmware version had the NAS work initially but eventually dissapearing after some time.
2- Router sometime crashes and reboot.

Before going to get this r42054 version working:
- I did install r42174. I coudlnt get internet to work at all on that version. Awaited and installed r42278. On r42278, I couldnt get the NAS to work at all and the router was very unstable. I downgraded to r42054 and bricked the router (crashed during the upgrade and then unbootable - blinking amber power light and nothing else). Finally succeeded to revert back to stock firmware and then flashed again with r42054.
