I just installed the 12/20 build on an r6700v2 and discovered that swap is disabled in the kernel. I did a search here in the Ralink section and found a few mentions dating back to like 2013 and 2015. Is this an ongoing thing with the Ralink build that it's made with swap turned off, or is that just select builds?

Before I raise a ticket for this, is there anyone who knows a reason for swap support being disabled specifically for Ralink builds?

Just my thoughts, but considering that the device was just added this year there may have not been any thought put into supporting swap in the kernel. I don't have a concrete answer for you, but I just emailed BrainSlayer about this. No need to open a (duplicate) ticket:

swap is enabled on alot of routers. just not on small pointless ones

i enabled now swap for the r6700v2 and other similar routers based on the same platform like r6800 etc. consider that there was no build for these devices in 2013 etc. since the r6700v2 did not even exist at that time

That makes sense. Thank-you for enabling it. It makes the device far more relevant.
