Alternate link: DD-WRT website Note: for wget (or curl) with CLI flash (`write {f/w} linux`), change the https to http, use `curl -k {link} -o {file}`, or ftp
Notes: 1. SFE accelerated NAT is in 33006+ builds but only in kernel 3.2 and newer 2. 'KRACK' vulnerability fixes were completed in r33678 for Broadcom, including k26 (33655) & k24 (33656); use 33772 or later.
3. Bridge modes on k4.4 devices may sometimes work in some configurations in certain builds but are not supported by the bcmdhd driver. Use client or repeater instead as WDS doesn't work with Broadcom ARM either (see Issues below).
4. PBR/UDP with SFE working again since r40513 (see 6729)
5. CAKE scheduler changes "completed" with r41057 (see 5796) & FQ_CODEL_FAST with r41027 (reset first!)
6. Reset button was broken in 40571; fixed in build 40750.
7. New Broadcom build option for 8MB+ K2.x devices (limited currently):
broadcom_K3X_mipsel32r1 [BS has tested on a WRT600N v1.1]
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported: 1.Trendnet 81*DRU models are missing factory-to-flash 2.DNScrypt is mostly only using v2 protocols now, but requires Golang that DD can't use:6246 3.WDS does not work on Broadcom ARM devices (only MIPS<->MIPS) 4.VAPs not working at boot; workaround startup command:
sleep 10;stopservice nas;stopservice wlconf;startservice wlconf;startservice nas
This appears fixed (only for unbridged VAPs?) with r40564:40566... 5.Radio Timer / GTK Renewal issues, syslog spam and wireless issues (BCM MIPS):
This may finally be fixed with r41663
Important: if reporting any issues, provide applicable info (GUI syslog, `dmesg`, `cat /var/log/messages`, etc.)
Or put into SVN ticket. For firewall issues, also provide "iptables" info (`iptables -L`, `iptables -t nat -L`, & the /tmp/.ipt file).
Template to copy (after "Code:") for posting issues, be sure to include the mode in use (gateway, AP, CB, etc.):

Flashed from gui. Syslogs clean. Up one hour.
Did not update the "Asus WL-500G Premium v2" as it appears dd-wrt.v24_mega_generic.bin is still version r41813, not r41954.

just in case someone else doesn't know
new versions of android have a privacy feature that spoofs your mac address. you have to turn it off manually. with my setup it was causing disconnect issues. might be unique to unbound though.

1) WiFi doesn’t work correctly for both frequency bands. This issue presents on the all releases after r41771. Client gets IP from default net 192.168.1.0/24 with gateway 192.168.1.1 while the router has another configuration 192.168.2.0/24. There are no configured VAPs. There are no fake net 192.168.1.0/24 in routing table of the router.
Wired connections work fine.
2) There are errors refer to JFFS2 (see attached logs). Clean Internal Flash Storage didn’t fix it. These errors are also present at r41771.
Router has been flashed back to r41771. WiFi works.

How strictly must we adhere to the template above? Does any script scrape that data (necessitating strictness)? _________________ My router: Asus RT-AC66U

Sounds suspiciously like your client devices are negotiating their WiFi connection with another device... perhaps your ISP's gateway was left as a router & WiFi access point (rather than flipped to bridge mode).
If you rule that out, I'd suggest wiping your DD-WRT config and starting fresh (manually, not from a back-up).

No scripts, but suggest keeping it fairly consistent with the template so others can easily follow along. Nobody will really care if you deviate, but it may reduce the usefulness of your contributions if they lack the requested details.

Status:
Firmware update was done according to Peacock FAQ thread.
First Issue
Syslog has been getting spammed by the following entry:
Code:
Jan 12 17:36:35 DIR-890L kernel CONSOLE: 007859.341 wl1: wlc_bmac_processpmq: skip entry with mc/bc address 2d:a9:f0:a5:3b:01

Jan 12 17:38:32 DIR-890L kernel CONSOLE: 007976.152 wl1: wlc_bmac_processpmq: skip entry with mc/bc address 2d:a9:f0:a5:3b:01
Jan 12 17:41:02 DIR-890L kernel CONSOLE: 008126.782 wl1: wlc_bmac_processpmq: skip entry with mc/bc address 2d:a9:f0:a5:3b:01
Jan 12 17:44:03 DIR-890L kernel CONSOLE: 008308.028 wl1: wlc_bmac_processpmq: skip entry with mc/bc address 2d:a9:f0:a5:3b:01
Jan 12 17:44:03 DIR-890L kernel CONSOLE: 008308.061 wl1: wlc_bmac_processpmq: skip entry with mc/bc address 2d:a9:f0:a5:3b:01
The cited MAC address is a non-existent address, but it is one digit off the MAC address of an Android phone connected to the network. Basically the phone has this MAC address: 2c:a9:f0:a5:3b:01. Syslog spam only occurs when said Android phone is connected to network.
Same issue was present in r41811.
This is the reason I actually decided to update firmware. Any ideas as to what could be causing this strange non-existent MAC address spamming the logs? Basically 2-3 entries per minute.
Second Issue
Router rebooted by itself after a couple of hours. Syslogs are as follows:
