yesterday support for realtek and broadcom chipset based 802.11n and 802.11ac modules was added by Brainslayer to the x86 dd-wrt builds ... brainslayer and me did some testing on my old crappy intel atom system ....

its a very early stage, many bugs and obstacles .... dont expect much (yet), realtek modules are a pain , best of the realtek modules where 2.4ghz realtek rtl8723be chipset, which actually archived up to 38mbps troughput .... other chipsets like rtl8821ae are just crappy 4-5mbps troughput .... hardware conflicts on our testing system etc ...

various broadcom 802.11ac chipsets where tested aswell , also low troughput due to hardware conflicts ... but they behave not as bad as realtek for now ....
it should be included with the next public x86 build i guess

any input welcome ... Smile
