This is showing up in my SysLog when my router boots up...

DD-WRT kern.warn kernel: [ 7.674578] ath10k_pci 0000:01:00.0: Direct firmware load for ath10k/QCA9984/hw1.0/firmware-6.bin failed with error -2

Should I be concerned and/or should I do something about the error? Suggestions?

Thanks (my router and firmware are below)

Upgrade to current release using the dd-wrt-webupgrade.bin file:

https://ftp.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2024/01-02-2024-r54682/netgear-r7800/

This is not an error but only a debug message.

I have a fairly similar model (Netgear R7500V2 with the same atk10k, using Vanilla) and 53833 would also output a similar log with no ill effect:

Code:

The recent ones (i'm currently on 54682) seem to output differently with no error indication:

I also remember seeing this and wondering "Uh Oh". The word "error" (even expected) certainly attracts attention LOL.
