Hi, I would like to tunnel traffic over DNS, I have read about iodine and it seems to be the best method and even has a windows client. I am curious, can this be installed on ddwrt? if so can anyone point me in the right direction?

I don't know much about iodine, but yep can be used via Entware / opt
have a look here http://bin.entware.net/mipselsf-k3.4/Packages.html

how to install Entware via usb / opt
https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Installing_Entware

https://code.kryo.se/iodine/

Whats is the reason, that you need a tunnel traffic over DNS?? (its meant to be very slow and basic)...

There might be another solution to it!

Thank you! The reason I want to do traffic over is in the event I am in another country and they only have captive portals for wifi and I am in a pinch and need to send a message etc. It happened to me a few weeks ago where I had to buy wifi cards where one could only buy them 1hr of internet at a time, and had to wait 1 hr in line to get 1 card. I was offline for days at a time, unable to send any messages.
