Hi all,

Yesterday, I just found out two different firmware versions from DD-WRT.

Can someone please tell me the differences (other than the size) ?

Real examples (I have a tplink_tl-wr1043nd):
http://download1.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/betas/2020/06-19-2020-r43471/tplink_tl-wr1043nd/

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2020/06-19-2020-r43471/tplink_archer-c9v1/

Thanks

I am not sure I understand your question, but what I think you are asking:

In those folders are two version, one is for uploading from the stock firmware of the router and the other is for regular upgrades. The stock to DD-wrt version has a few other parameters set to let the stock version think that the firmware upgrade is correct and to another version of stock.

I see... thanks for clarification.
