Hello,

I'm not sure I'm posting in the right part of the forum.
I have an Internet box composed of the server and the player used to watch the TV.

I have a Linksys WRT64GS with DD-WRT v3.0-r40559 micro (08/06/19) firmware.

I want to plug it just before the player and use it as bridge using wire, and also configure it as the Wi-Fi repeater or Access Point.

I tried the following to set it as a wired switch for the 1st part :
https://wiki.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Switch

but the player was not working anymore.

Is this good approach for my network?

Thank you for your help.
