Hi,

I try to reset my asus rt-66u router with dd-wrt, but I dont remember the pass and the hidden ssid.

After a 30-30-30 reset I still cant connect with ethernet from my ubuntu machine or from windows.

Can one flash the router from usb?

Have you followed this procedure from Asus to reset the nvram to defaults?

If this doesn't work you'll need to boot into recovery mode and perform a reset or flash from there.

I had to flash my RT-N66R to stock firmware last night for testing so I can make sure the hardware is still good. I was having trouble with wifi on the 41418 back to 40439 which seems to be a broadcom issue which they haven't fixed in the driver.
