All,

I have a v1 Netgear WNDR3700. From the wiki it states the following:

v1

v1 units are not labeled at all and are just called "WNDR3700".

Download DD-WRT for the WNDR3700 v1 from here depending on the region you purchased your outer from:

North America (NA): ftp://dd-wrt.com/betas/2014/03-29-2014-r23838/netgear-wndr3700/wndr3700-factory_NA.img

World Wide (WW): ftp://dd-wrt.com/betas/2014/03-29-2014-r23838/netgear-wndr3700/wndr3700-factory.img

Web Flash BIN (Both): ftp://dd-wrt.com/betas/2014/03-29-2014-r23838/netgear-wndr3700/wndr3700-webflash.bin

Note: If you try to install DD-WRT on v1 with initial factory firmware (1.0.4.31NA), the upload will fail with "Invalid file name!" Work-around for this problem is to first upgrade to a later version of factory firmware (e.g., 1.0.7.98NA) before installing DD-WRT.

I have the latest 'NETGEAR' firmware installed but still don't know which from the above DD-WRT firmware's I should use.

Do I use wndr3700-factory_NA.img or wndr3700-webflash.bin?

Thanks

Factory for initial flash from the Stock firmware, webflash after you have DD-WRT and wish to upgrade to a newer variant of DD-WRT

Thanks for the info. Just so I'm clear on the install instructions, do I need to do a factory reset on my 3700 before I install/flash with DD-WRT?

Thanks. I have dd-wrt up and running but I am unable to find where I can enabled rflow. My primary reason for switching to dd-wrt was to send network data to a network monitor (going to try PRTG first) so I can analyze my network data flows. Is this not an option on an Atheros based router?

Thanks
