So I finally decided to flash dd-wrt to my old wrt54g v8. I have got it successfully working, etc, etc.

Here is my situation that I am needing a solution to - surely someone has already addressed this.

I am running all of my Internet at home through my cell phone. My goal is to use the wrt54g as a repeater, but I need to be able to get it to reliably connect to my phone and repeat. However the phone has a dynamic address every time you restart the hotspot but the network name remains the same.

Ideally I would want to simply connect the router to the network created by the phone by name.

Any suggestions?
