Didn't work at all in A1 hw version of 68U. For starters router only kept blinking power led right after browser said link lost when updated the firmware. Waited like 10minutes and nothing but 3 or 4 blinks and then pause. Sounds like error code for me. Rebooted then and got in to GUI. Every time when I applied changes to the wireles security router crashed. Settings were saved though. Both 2.4 and 5ghz networks are found but doesn't work at all. Windows complains about different settings etc when connected. GUI crashes every now and then when browsing.
I did reset from button before upgrade.
now downgraded to 38132 code.
Unfortunately I didn't write up the kernel and file. Dang it
Tried to updgrade twice and same thing happened.
Code doesn't seem to brick A1.

Strange. I upgraded an rev A1 a few days ago without any issues. I upgraded from the command line though. Maybe you should try downloading again.
This build seems very good in general. _________________ Netgear R7000 on Build 55109

Tried again couple minutes ago. Firstly reset to the defaults by button at the back. Then upgrade firmware and it took about 5s to connection lost to the router. Not even the upgrade succesful and blue bar at the screen. Crashed before that. Waited few minuted and got in to webgui. Upgraded straight away and this time it got all the way. I think crash here is due to select reset after reboot? This time I didn't select it. After first boot I did factory reset from the gui.
Then router crashed right after I applied wireless security settings. After reboot same thing as before. Then I said in loud what if same network name at 2.4 and 5gz causes this. Yes it did!
Let's see does this firmware fix intermitttent wireless connection lost.

Should web browser ask to save password and username ? Browser suggest random name and password every time.
This can be repeated every time when selecting security and from there vpn. Its getting annoying
First login is ok but after that sounds weird.
