Kernel VersionLinux 4.9.191 #380 SMP Sat Sep 7 01:32:51 CEST 2019 armv7l

webupgrade from 40912 alpha build.
no reset

Well, it looks like we have big progress with Q.o.S. and latency finally!!!! Very decent scores to share on wired... Now, need to find some people with some real high speed uploads >35mbps to test out this build.

Reset? No. Just upgraded and kept settings 'as is'

Errors? Beyond the usual visual bug where the 5 GHz light is not working (same as always). Beyond that as far as I can tell everything is fine.

What Q.o.S. are you using? Cake and FQ_Codel(&_Fast) will overtake the CPU on All C7 and A7 models made.... Use Htb&Pie only to have any chance at >100mbps with qos on.

An A7 I just set up for a buddy can max out at 110-120 with HTB&PIE. (Also only turn on/check TCP priority ACK)

Otherwise you will need to turn off qos and run SFE.

Does the HTB&Pie combo cause a memory leak; I doubt it will?

Also, next time put a post on the forums first before flooding the SVN with tickets which are unconfirmed.

imo theres zero difference in that download latency..

a jittery +50ms over idle.. qos off using isp bufferbloat gets me +45ms over idle and more stable than that. id be unable to game on that.

something like this is what it could and should be https://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/53388271

R7800 Web upgrade from 40863

CPU Locked in at 1725mhz...by BS default.

Again, making progress, but not super awesome, jittery...

@Tatsuya46 _ I know it's not the best, but progress nonetheless.... maybe BS will "find" the other commits from <KONG> and put an end to the wired latency...

@Tatsuya46- The other thing to consider is stream count...my results are impressive with 32/12 on a 10+yr old core2quad 2.8ghz cpu and a 2013ish Intel NIC...

Looks like the R9000 edges out the R7800... to be expected with quad core, but the R9000 should be smoking fast and it's still not...

Just for comparison... R7800 Installed Kongpro 9-6-1...

his CAKE stinks too...

I see no advantage to run to KongPro vs DD-wrt for the sake of qos. They seem even Steven right now... well, actually dd-wrt F.T.W. by the numbers...

Now the real question is to figure out the extra 50+ms latency from idle...

http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/54029198

http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest/54029127

and KongPro fq_codel & simple qos...

i do suspect the same memleak on 1043v2, after 20h work, mem was way too low and the unit stalled, no DHCP, no internet...
will monitor closely today...

Router Model D-Link 615-C1
r40932 (09/07/19)

BRICKED.
The UI firmware update stopped early (like the previous versions), the router rebooted and now (unlike the previous versions) it is stuck in the web recovery page.

I tried all firmware types (webupdate, factory, and original DLINK image), it is still stuck in the recovery. Sometimes it says that the hardware ID does not match the image (although it should). Most times it just doesn't do anything, the web page keeps spinning.
I tried Chrome and IE.
