|
Regards. I have an issue, I can only access my Cisco E4200 flashed with DD-WRT via ethernet
directly from my PC using(192.168.1.1) as long as internet is disconnected.
My E4200 is connected to my main router/modem ZTE H268A which I don't have
login/password access because ISP never gave them to me. Both devices, ZTE modem/router and E4200 uses 192.168.1.1 by default.
Hence, I can only use one device at the time. Is there a way to assign a static IP
to the Cisco router which basically serves as access point to my home?
I tried changing IP under interfaces and device becomes unreachable,
had to perform a hard reset after that. Need some help here.I want to be able
to assign a static IP as 192.168.11.1 and have DHCP take care of whatever
connect to the E4200 access point. Problem is as soon as I connect my E4200
to my ZTE H268A, I can no longer access the E4200 GUI interface to make changes
to my configuration, I get the ZTE H268A login screen instead.
I need some help here. |
