I have the newest build of dd-wrt (25.0Cool. I'm flash that firmware and want to make clean configuration on router. I'm put completly configuration via webgui and my internet download speed have ~50-60 Mbit/s. I have 120+ mbit option from ISP and when I'm connected directly to isp modem this speed is exist. I don't know when I should find issue. Configuration is the same as earlier and I don't know where is the problem. My router is Netgear WNR 3500L v2 updated from oldies version of dd-wrt. Hiherto rather I haven't problems with router and Internet speed was very good. Can you help me to solve this problem.

You should probably report this in the appropriate build thread.
I’m using the same build on a different router and get appropriate speed, approx 5 % below 100 Mbit/s, what I pay for.

Will that 480MHz mips cpu even give that throughput that your provider advertises? If it has a heatsink, you could try overclocking it to 533. Also, is this over wired or wireless? You may need to adjust wireless settings if it's a wireless issue.

I think everything was ok as soon as I'm restore router to factory settings. So where Can I fix this situation ? I don't know which build is without this issue. I try many builds from 2019.08 and situation is similar. Where is location where I can open ticket with problem. I have a problem with registration in DD-WRT changelog / tickets system.

@kernel-panic69
My provider sent me internet connection 120 Mbit/s download 15 mbit/s upload. I'm check this without my netgear router and this speed is available. I have rj-45 connection and hiherto this problem is wasn't. I don't know what's wrong with my router. Overclocking is rather riskfull operation and rather I won't to try that. You know any hint to fix this problem ?

Did you ever get full speed with that router using dd-wrt? As kernel-panic69 points out, pretty slow processor. No surprise that you get full speed when hooking a computer directly to internet.

Usally I have ~130 Mbit without any additional operations (you suggest OC it's rather not smart, router have -> 50 Celssius) with exactly the same configuration, odd situation for me. I wonder which build is without internet speed issue. In my opinion is something wrong with DD-WRT. I don't know what cause i'm not software provider.

I presume you're testing wired speeds? I can't tell from this whether you reset after flashing the latest build? If not (or if you applied an nvram backup from the old config), then you will not have SFE enabled to give you faster NAT speeds. Check your basic WAN setup page. Reset and manually set up if you have not already.

That cpu's max speed is 533 MHz by design. Overclocking it, especially if it has a heatsink on it, isn't going to break it. If you're worried, you can add a cooling fan mod to it.

OC is not necessary. Problem is in firmware build Any firmware newest than v3.0-r40634 giga (08/14/19) decrease WAN port speed (I don't know why) for WNR3500Lv2. Actually I have r40634 firmware and I have full speed of my internet connection. When I try other newest build then speed fall down to ~ 65 - 67 Mbit/s. That is half of my internet full speed. I don't know where is some issue, but it is not problem of router CPU speed.

Ok, but did you check to see if SFE was enabled? Are you using QoS? You are on 40784, right? You're providing no details of your configuration, so I don't know what to suggest.

I'm not advanced user of dd-wrt. How can I enable SFE ? I have default settings and I'm configure router via webgui. Internet connection is connected via isp modem, rj-45 cord and DHCP service. Actually I have full speed available via wifi too. I think I have basic configuration available via webgui. My currently version of DD-WRT is: r40634.

Enabling SFE (shortcut forwarding engine)...

Setup tab > WAN Setup (Optional Settings) section > Shortcut Forwarding Engine > Enable

SFE has seen some improvements lately so I'd suggest installing 40854.

Yes. Here is a issue. When I have SFE set to disable I have only ~67 Mbit/s. When this option is enable speed is full.
