Changelogs:
Note: SFE accelerated NAT is in 33006+ builds but only in kernel 3.10 and newer
SVN changelog (last build: 33413): http://svn.dd-wrt.com/timeline?from=Oct+10%2C+2017&daysback=14&changeset=on
Summary (deprecated; thru 29739): https://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=279467

Tickets (Broadcom-related and general) closed as 'fixed':
5941: r33250+ qos netmask/mac uplink applying to downlink
5967: r33375 dir-860L-a1 too big for flash
5968: r33257+ Netgear R7000 - USB devices are regonized after core usb is enabled but not after reboot
5982: update: OpenVPN to 2.4.4 (20170926)

Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
K26 big, mega & openvpn builds have returned
1. (redhawk0) K3X builds still too big for (most*) 8 MB flash routers: http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/5936
* E1200v2 and E1500 work since they have 64KB more (7872 KB total); so should E900 (untested)
2. (egc) [from prior builds] Policy-Based Routing doesn't work with SFE enabled.
http://svn.dd-wrt.com/ticket/5900
3. (egc) [from prior builds] "OpenVPN 2.4 is stable but you have to tweak your configuration files notably:"
mtu-disc yes
proto udp4

WARNING: This build thread is for reporting successes and problem with loading this experimental test build.
This is important info for developers and users. Always state your hardware model, version, and SPECIFIC build (e.g. dd-wrt.v24-33215_NEWD-2_K3.x_mega-nv64k.bin). Create your own thread to discuss any specific problems or questions, and please do not respond to such questions. This thread is to report info, not to seek it. Posts that do not add to understanding this build will be deleted. Make sure you know how to flash properly and the risk before using this build. It is important to adhere to these requirements, to keep this thread from becoming impossibly long and useless. If you don't know what build to flash and how to flash properly and have a means of recovery if things should go wrong, do NOT flash this experimental test build.

They are still posting builds for the WNR2000v3 and 29837 (06-Jun-2016) was the last one that was small enough to load.

On the plus side, these K3's are so obviously too large it saves having to think about breaking out the serial cable.

For my understanding what can be the maximum for these 8MB routers?
For my E2000, I use build 33215 K3 Mega, which is 7805 Kb and working well.
This build is 7813 Kb. So should we consider 7805 Kb as the maximum?

EDIT: should probably look at number of bytes which has to be below 8.000.000 ?
