I have a Linksys E1000 v1 running DD-WRT v24-sp2 in Client mode, connected to the ISPs modem.
Seemingly the ISP resets their connection overnight (it's an LTE modem to a tower). When I sit down at my desk in the morning, my computer has no internet connection. I can connect to DD-WRT, which reports that it has a WAN IP, and doesn't show any errors that I can see. However, I haven't found any way to reestablish an internet connection aside from restarting the client router (which I do via the services menu).
Any suggestions on how to fix this, or to improve convenience (e.g. auto restart)?

I presume this is setup as a wireless client, since there is no USB port involved? If the build is really old, I would suggest upgrading, and probably no newer than 35531, because K2.6 builds are pretty much hit and miss after that build. Scheduled reboot is also a crap shoot. Earliest build I would suggest is 33772. As an aside, FreshTomato mini build is an option. 2019.3.118 beta should've been uploaded today, but I haven't tested the wireless client mode in FT personally.
I have a similar issue with a 4g modem connected to my r7000 - recent ddwrt build. Not a daily issue like yours but is intermittent. Internet drops out and either rebooting the router, or releasing/renewing the WAN dhcp gets everything going again.
So I started using the administration>keep alive>WDS/connection watchdog with a ping to google 8.8.8.8 every 300 seconds. If internet does drop, the router auto reboots.
