First of all, remove the heat sink and take a decent close-up picture of the chip underneath. Also, a better close up picture of the chip in the corner.
I, but mainly the devs, need to be able to read the model numbers written on the chips themselves. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.

Hi. I have one of these routers and stock software is crappy (as usual). I had to remove a iron-soldered heatsink and thermal paste in main chip to take the pictures.

I can't find the flash size but when the manufacturer's firmware is only 1MiB it is not looking good. DD-WRT needs at least 2MiB for very limited features and 4MiB for most routers. VPN support requires at least 8MiB.
The good news is that a bunch of routers with the same SoC are already supported by DD-WRT. Search for Broadcom BCM5357C0 on wikidevi. The issue is that the supported ones all have at least a 4MiB flash. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.

I found this in Wikidevi http://bit.ly/2Jez5Pn. Same Nexxt brand. Model Xtender 300). I checked stock firmware and size is 724 KB, so, I think that flash size for Solaris 300 is same 4MB.

I have no idea. You could try flashing it via SSH or telnet. Heck, you could even try serial. No idea on login info for that particular router. Default ip address, etc.
I use PuTTY for telnet and SSH. Serial I use Br@Y's Terminal or even PuTTY. Serial requires opening up the router and connecting wires to the board (possibly soldering). _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.

Can you help me updating my router using Telnet? I already opened Telnet 23 port, but I don't know neccesary commands to update it to DDWRT cooked version that you gave me.
Neither I can't find any tutorial to do it in english or spanish, my natural language.

Btw, this is the error that I receive while I tried to update via web
Most router firmware use telnet/SSH with the password method. _________________ Before asking a question on the forums, update dd-wrt: Where do I download firmware? I suggest reading it all.
