What is the best firmware to use for a linksys wrt54gs v4 to use as a repeater bridge?

I use latest builds on my old WRT54*'s, but only for testing, so follow mrjcd's advice. Just be sure not to use 39144 through 39654. Neutral

Note that Broadcom bridge modes aren't a good idea unless it's just for one client (or two, maybe). Use Repeater (not Bridge) if possible. Or Client Mode, depending on your requirements.
