When I first set up my WRT1900ACS v2 I could get 20mbps at the bottom of my garden, now after three months I can only get a weak signal next to the house. The difference is around 40/50 ft, so not an insignificant reduction.

I have changed some wifi settings, but I wondered if that might indicate the hardware had actually degraded? I note that the TX power was set to 30 dBm as default. Is that higher than it would be on stock?

I wondered if there had been a change in the "minimum signal to authenticate" settings, or something like that? (I hadn't activated this).
