Hello all,
Currently, I have a WRT 1900ACSv2 (confirmed on the bottom of the device) running the latest firmware (06-11-2019-r40009).
I started on a previous firmware (~12/2017) and DDWRT was installed fine. Fresh factory reset, and it was working, however I have a number of NAT/Static IP's that I plug in. Once I add the static IP's and NAT info, DHCP stops working. On the old flash, I could disable "Use DNSMasq for DHCP" and DHCP would start working again. However, after flashing to this latest firmware (hoping it fixed the DHCP issue), that option is no longer there.
Everything works 100% fine, EXCEPT the DHCP. If I manually set my PC's IP address, I can connect to the device (and the internet) without a problem. It's specifically the DHCP which is NOT working.
I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. It takes me about an hour+ to plug in my static leases and NAT info, so I'm REALLY hoping I don't have to go back and do that again.
As an update, I reverted back to an older build (v3.0-r39144), which DOES have the option to un-check "use DNSMasq for DHCP", and once again DHCP is working fine.
